How do I get started with DietSync?
Start by setting up your health profile on the Profile tab. Select any food sensitivities or autoimmune conditions you have (Step One), then choose diets that interest you (Step Two). You can then view compatible diets and build a personalized shopping list.
-
How does the shopping list work?
The shopping list automatically compiles foods from your selected diets and filters out any items that conflict with your health profile. Check the items you want, then use the print button to create a clean, printable version to take to the grocery store.
-
How are diets recommended for me?
Based on the sensitivities and autoimmune conditions you select in your health profile, DietSync identifies diets that are known to be beneficial or compatible with your conditions. These appear with a star icon and are sorted to the top of your diet list.
-
Can I select multiple diets at once?
Yes! You can select as many diets as you'd like. Your shopping list will include foods from all selected diets, and any items that conflict with your health profile will be automatically removed.
-
What if a food I'm sensitive to still appears?
While DietSync filters out known trigger foods based on your profile, individual tolerances can vary. If you notice a food that shouldn't be there, please contact us so we can improve our database. Always consult with your healthcare provider for personalized dietary advice.
-
Is DietSync a substitute for medical advice?
No. DietSync is a tool to help you organize and navigate your dietary choices. It is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet.
-
Is the app available on iOS and Android?
Yes! DietSync is built as a cross-platform app and is available for both iOS and Android devices.
